Too Quiet

Melinda Sordino, a quiet, soft-spoken ninth grader with communication issues. Or it seems that way at first until you discover that that's not all to the story.

First, Melinda has diffuculties communicating because she's had an experience that has changed her drastically. At this point we don't know what's wrong with her but we know it's the reason that she hasn't told anyone.

Would I help her? To be honest I don't know if I would. I'm sure that if I knew her situation that I would help her in a second but to be fair most of the students don't know her issue. If I knew though then I definitely would. Even if that means risking a reputation.

It's very realistic to think that high-schoolers avoid coming to school due to personal reasons that nobody else knows about. I think this is true because they're trying to escape the place that seems like a personal prison. She can't tell anyone and she hasn't told anyone. What happened is trapped inside her head and going to school only adds fuel to the fire, making her even more secluded.

In all, Melinda is just a girl with a huge problem who can't tell anyone about it and that's driving her crazy.
