Girl Without A Voice

I have noticed that Melinda Sordino is extremely quiet. I want to help her in someway but I dont know her at all, or have any idea whats wrong with her. I think maybe the way her parents act might be why she doesnt talk to anyone. Usually, if the parents are fighting then the child will have a hard time talking to people. I would try to help her, by being her friend. It seems to me that she doesn't hang out with the people she used to, and she cuts class alot, and maybe if she had a friend she would talk more. I would help her overcome the fear she has of talking to people, teahers, and maybe her parents. I definately believe that Melinda cuts school because of some personal reasons, problems, or concerns about school. I saw that she keeps trying to avoid a guy named Andy. I dont know why though, it may have to do with why she cuts school. Most times if you are a student who dosen't talk then teachers, principals, parents, and other students wont understand how to help you. They wouldn't know what is going on or what is wrong, so they would have no idea how to start to help her, or get help for her. I just hope she talks soon. SHe seems like a nice girl.
