She's Different...

1) I think it is difficult for Melinda to tell someone about what is wrong because she has no one to tell.Her parents don't care and she has no friends. I think she has problems trusting people. It is also hard on her and family memeberds to bring up some of her problems.

2) Yes I would try to help her. It's important for everyone to have a friend and for someone to talk to. It is not good for someone to keep all their feelings bottled up inside.I would want to be a friend to her.

3) Yes I think it is realistic but I don't think it is the right choice. I understand that maybe you just need a personal day to be away from school but it's not the right choice to skip school.Your problems may be difficult and people may not know but there is always teacher you can talk to or the guidence counselor. It's not worth missing a whole day of school.
