1. I think it is difficult for Melinda to tell someone what's wrong because she is probably scared.She is scared of what people will think of her and if people will even beleive her.
2. Yes, I would try to help her. I would try by talking to her and trying to see what was wrong.
3.Yes it is realistic to think that high school students avoid coming to school because of personal reasons that others know nothing about. This is realistic because they dont know what to do with their problems becuase they have no one to turn to. They then probably feel like they have to get away, by not going to school.
