Speak: Questions I

Speak: Questions 1
1. Melinda is obviously sensitive about the event that took place at the party. Also, because she called the cops at the party, she has no friends to share her feelings with. Lastly, she feels like her parents were cheating on each other that night and if she brings it up she could ruin her family.

2. If I knew what Melinda had gone through I would try to help her. I would try to be a friend to her and listen to her or try to get her help from an adult.

3. Yes, I think that it is realistic to think that people skip school because they have personal problems that nobody knows about. It must be hard to be struggling with school or home life and have nobody to talk to. By seeing people that could have been involved in this incident that makes you upset, it would probably make the victim feel uncomfortable. Therefore, they would do anything they could to avoid these people and events.
