I think it is difficult for Melinda to tell someone about what happend that night of the party because, she is ashamed about what happend. I would help her if she asked me for help,but not knowing her, i would not just ask her whats wrong because she might not want me to know or to get involed. If think that if someone had a problem in highschool that they wouldnt go to school because they might not want people to ask whats wrong.
