I think it is difficult for Melinda to tell someone what's wrong because she thinks it might be worse when she tells, people would be talking about and everyone will know about it. Her friends leave her, so she feels like she has no friends and she is very lonely. There is no one she can trust at school.Her parent only caress about her grade at school.

I will not try to help her because she has to speak by herself in order to solve the problem. Because no one will help her, because she doesn't speak, no one knows the problem. Maybe I would know there was something wrong, but because she doesn't speak, no one knows and so no one will want to help.

Yes, it is realistic to think that high school students avoid coming to school due to personal reasons, because people do not want to face anyone. She already feels upset, and there is a lot of pressure at school. Coming to school only makes her feel worse, she doesn't want to see Andy and everyone at school likes Andy. No one will talk to her, all of the students hate her and make her feel lonely

Why do you think it is so difficult for Melinda Sordino to tell someone about what's wrong with her? Imagine you are a student at Merryweather High School, and you have noticed that something seems to be terribly wrong with Melinda. As someone who is observing from the outside, who knows NOTHING about what seems to be troubling her, would you attempt to help her in any way? How? If not, why?
